Hi! I’m Lea, a licensed psychotherapist in NYC with postgraduate training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy. My approach to therapy is compassionate and collaborative, and I offer a space for reflection where we can get curious about your experiences without judgment.
I work with adolescents and adults who are often feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Many of the people I work with are trying to understand their relationships—both with others and with themselves—and are looking to make sense of the patterns that keep showing up in their lives.
I have seen firsthand how transformative and powerful therapy can be, but that it can also feel scary and vulnerable. My hope is that in working together, you will learn to connect with your inner voice and build self-trust.
What is it like to work with me?
Working with me isn’t a silent, blank-slate kind of experience. I am an active participant in the room—I ask a lot of questions, offer reflections, and sometimes make (well-timed!) jokes to help things land or lighten the mood. I show up as a real person because I believe therapy is most helpful when it feels like a genuine, human connection.
